Fruits and vegetables are an often-overlooked part of a healthy diet for dogs, cats and exotic pets. Flavorful and crunchy, they make great additions to kibble or snacks. They’re also a vitamin-rich addition to many pet names, both in paw-pular and decidedly wacky forms. With this in mind, we dropped by the produce aisle to see what kind of wackiness we could cook up.
Tasty fruit names for pets
These summery fruits are hydrating, sweet and safe in moderation for most pets. They make for popular pet names, too!
Peach – Do I dare to eat a peach? Your pet can, so long as you make sure to remove the pit! Peaches are considered safe for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals.

Mango – A tropical favorite for summery drinks, salads and Wacky Pet Names like 2017 Wacky Dog Name nominee: Tango Mango! Mango is especially nice when frozen as a cool down for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Remove the large seed in the middle and cut away the rind before serving.
