Inspired by the wacky and surreal animated series “Bee and PuppyCat,” this pet lives up to her unconventionally wacky name.
“It’s inspired by a TV show my partner and I are obsessed with,” says Nationwide member Cali S. “In the show, there’s this quirky, mysterious character called PuppyCat who’s part cat, part dog—or something like that—and we thought it was hilarious to give our rabbit such a mixed-up name. Plus, it fits our bunny’s personality perfectly: cute, a little mischievous and totally unique!”
Like her namesake character, “Puppy Cat is obsessed with her stuffed mushroom toy. It’s not just any toy—it crinkles when she plays with it, which she absolutely loves,” Cali says. “She’ll snuggle it, race around her room carrying it in her mouth, and—the cutest part—she even brings it to us as a gift! It’s as if she’s proudly sharing her most treasured possession.”
In the series, PuppyCat is Bee’s companion on adventures through the occasionally unsafe weirdness of the universe.
