Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas turned to his daughter for inspiration in naming his hamburger chain. Some years later, when it came time for Zoey B. to name her new kitty, she found her inspiration at his drive thru. “My partner at the time mentioned that, if he was having a bad day, he could always count on a 4 for $4 from Wendy's to cheer him up,” Zoey says. “So, I brought him home Wendy's 4 for $4—and our house was never the same.”
This namesake meal consists of the essentials: fries, a burger, chicken nuggets and a drink, all for four dollars (a wacky good deal, if you ask us). However, Wendy’s the cat orders off-menu for her favorite treat: “She has a de-feathered feather wand that she loved as a kitten,” Zoey says, “and still almost 4 years later she carries it around. Without feathers, it really resembles an adult’s baby blanket that they've slept with their whole lives—so, it's called the blankie stick.”
Zoey knows a good deal when she sees one, as her kitty’s wacky Wendy’s pet name suggests. It’s also why she chose Nationwide to protect her pets. “Nationwide is always on my side!
