When these pet parents brought home their new kitty, they turned to the history books for their next adventure—not to Constantinople, but to Wackiness. The result was an orange cat named Cattila the Hun.
A fitting name for the cuddliest of nomadic warrior, Cattila the Hun was only the most recent marauder king in the household. “We already had Genghis Khat, and we like puns and history,” says Nationwide member Peter E. “We decided to keep the Asian-conqueror-theme when we adopted Cattila the Hun.”
While King Attila scoured the Balkans in search of conquest and plunder, Cattila endeavors for different treasure—treats. “Sometimes we call him Cattila the Hungry,” Peter says. However, he is not the most skilled tactician. “He never gets a turn with the orange tabby brain cell—he is bad at hunting and playing, and he often stares at the blank wall and screams. Despite his namesake, he is the least fearsome creature imaginable.”
Luckily, keeping Cattila the Hun safe doesn’t require a mercenary army on Peter’s payroll. Instead, he got Nationwide pet insurance “to help keep him healthy and happy,” Peter says. “Just seeing him sitting there brightens our day.
