A truly wacky pet name isn’t a quick meal—it’s a slow-cookin’-crock-pot affair that melds together the funny with the poignant to create a uniquely wacky flavor. That’s exactly what one member did when naming her adopted kitten Beef Stewart.
“Beef Stewart was rescued from a dumpster around the New Year of 2022 by a friend, and I took her in shortly after,” says Nationwide member Raena K. “I thought her coat looked a little bit like beef stew, and I do love that dish, so I thought it was fitting! From the moment she was given a home she has been extremely grateful and sweet, always bringing us her toys and coming to snuggle any time she sees an open lap.”
Named for a truly hearty meal, Beef Stewart is always properly fueled up for wacky adventures. “She's always running wildly through the house,” Raena says. “Her favorite thing is to sneak, like a little tiger. She also loves to get up on high surfaces and survey her kingdom.”
“I chose to insure Beef Stewart because I care for my cats as if they're my children,” Raena says. “I couldn't bear the thought of not being able to afford care if she were to need it. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can handle whatever may come up.”
