Tips for Bringing Your Dog to Work
Bringing your companion to work is a privilege and responsibility that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Before bringing your pet to the office, ask yourself:
- Is my pet house broken?
- Will he/she sit quietly while I am working even if other pets are around?
- Is he/she in good health and current on vaccinations?
- Is he/she social and friendly with other animals and people?
Tips for Preparation:
- Keep your pet contained during their visit with baby gates or on a leash
- Take your dog outside every few hours to prevent accidents
- Bring everything you need to clean up after your pet
- Understand that you are responsible for your pet’s actions should they injure another person or pet or damage any property/Your dog should be under your supervision at all times.
- Bring treats and comforts from home like a small pet bed, blanket or toy
