Shake Paws with the VPI K9K Grrand Marshal

Recognize this pooch? It’s the mug of a pug you simply can’t forget. Harley, who captured the 2011 VPI Hambone Award® when he ate and passed more than 100 rocks, will add yet another title to his list of endearing monikers. On Saturday, November 12, the lovable pug will become the first Grrand Marshal of the VPI K9K Pet Cancer Awareness Walk.

Harley and his owner Lori Laverdiere will be among the hundreds of walkers who are joining the fight against pet cancer. All proceeds from the VPI K9K Pet Cancer Awareness Walk are donated directly to the Animal Cancer Foundation to fund research that advances the prevention and treatment of cancer for people and pets.
