The best thing I decided was to add the Major Medical Plan VPI insurance!
We have an 10 month English bulldog puppy.This breed suffers from many health issues for that reason my husband I decided to add pet insurance. We found that the Major Medical Plan was the best option for our Oli. At 4 months he develop skin allergies we have seen 3 vets and a demonologist in 6 months we spent $1,761.41 and reimbursement $1,141.59.Thank you VPI!!!

A great product, get it!
Our little Fritz has been this home's heart since he came to be part of our family in 2003. However Fritz is one expensive little bugger to maintain. He has had to have 2 bladder stones removed and that is not a cheap procedure. Then there was the time he went for a drive in the country with mom and dad and silly old dad left some bones from 3 chicken drumsticks in the car with Fritz. Well they were gone a hour later when we got back to the car. The Vet bill for that was not cheap either. Bottom line is at just over 7lbs Fritz has been the most expensive dog for us ever, especially by the pound!!!! But we still love him and VIP Pet Insurance has been a great product. Dad is in the insurance business and does not want to see Fritz ever lose his coverage but truly we receive a lot more in paid benefits than the cost of this policy in the past few years. We are so glad we have it! Thank you VIP Pet Insurance without you we might not have been able to have Fritz for so long and still healthy!

Couldn't have a furry kid without VPI
We adopted both of our dogs and sad to say we lost Chloe last year to cancer. The bright side is that we were able to afford the proper care (chemo, etc) because we had VPI Insurance.
After Chole's passing, I had let our coverage on Zeke lapse. My credit card had been compromised elsewhere and I forgot to add a new form of payment on his policy. I finally remembered to re-instate and the customer service I received couldn't have been better.
Zeke is a yellow lab mix and got away from me one night while we were playing. He seemed happy when he got home, but the next morning I found vomit and he wasn't himself. We called our local vet and ended up taking Zeke to the emergency room where they had to open him up to see what he ate.
Zeke, thankfully, has fully recovered. We would spend whatever was needed to take care of him, but VPI makes it that much easier when writing a check for $2200, knowing we will be receiving a partial reimbursement.
I had to call VPI a few times through our latest adventure with Zeke and each time I was amazed at the great customer service.
Anyone that has pets needs to have VPI!!!

My Dog's and VPI
I have had two dog's in my adult Life, Lady and Cassidy. Unfortunately, both dogs have been afflicted with chronic diseases. Lady passed away from bone cancer at they young age of 4. However, I had Lady covered under VPI insurance with the extra cancer coverage which increased my benefits. VPI was so wonderful during this difficult time. VPI allowed me the opportunity to have her Vets perform procedures to help relieve her pain and try to save her life. WIthout VPI, I would not have been able to try to give Lady a pain free passing. Cassidy was diagnosed with Cushing's disease and is doing very well. The disease is under control and Cassidy is living a full life and should for a very long time, as long as I keep up with her medications and testing. Cushings disease can be a bit expensive to keep up with the meds and testing but Thanks to VPI, the financial aspect of disease is not an issue. VPI relieves the financial stress of Pet ownership. They help out with the finances of pet ownership when you most need it. I am so Thankful I have VPI pet insurance. Thank you VPI.

When I needed VPI,they were there
From the end of October 2011through December 2011 my hound experienced a pulled tooth, lancing a cyst on his torso, amputating a toe, and severing 3" of an infected tail.
Through all the trauma and cost, the folks at VPI were watching my back.They were there when I needed them the most.
I must have filed a dozen different claims forms to VPI for the surgeries, bandaging, medication and follow up visits. In most cases I was awarded the benefit allowed on my plan (Superior Plan). In instances when I was refused I was able to speak to a VPI consultant over the phone and explain my situation and circumstance. Following their advice and through the cooperation of my vet, I was able to provide VPI with additional documentation and medical evidence to support my claim- and VPI listened!!
All in all through the various costs incurred with my pooch's bad luck and injury, VPI covered 63% of my total cost.
Their policies and professionalsim certainly took the sting out of a very expensive proposition in the caring for my dog.

So grateful
In November Marley got into some trouble and ate a rock. He was so sick and had to be rushed to the emergency room. His blood pressure had dropped and needed surgery immediately. I was so afraid of what this was going to cost and how much was going to be reimbursed. I called customer services many times and they made me feel at ease and even gave me an estimate of how much would be covered. Once I submitted my claim it took about 3weeks to receive my reimbursement. Thank you VPI for returning over 90% of my claim!!!! You were a life saver! We are so grateful for your coverage and for your supportive customer service reps!!

VPI is the best would not be without it!
I would not be without pet insurance for my Labrador Retriever, Goldie. She got sick from a recalled bag of dog food two years ago and VPI covered all the vet bills. She also accidentally broke some molars on a steak bone at the park and a expensive trip to the Pet ER was paid for. She is now going through the same thing with another bone and trying to save a molar. Goldie is a therapy dog and we share all these stories with the patients we visit. I highly recommend this to my friends and many have joined VPI. The wellness package and cancer premium is also must also. This family is great full to VPI.

The way you want a health insurance to perform
Let me start by saying the people at VPI are the best! They have repeatedly helped me through the claim process, ensured I got the coverage due me and have always been extremely friendly and helpful. They are VPI and due to them, VPI is a great insurance product. My Barry is an 11 y/o Silky terrier rescue dog who has Addison's disease, just had bladder stones and is about to have cataract surgery. Addison's is a permanent affliction and I submit claims regularly. Not once have I had a delay or problem. The bladder stone condition was complicated, involved surgery, ultra sounds, X-Rays, medication and it took numerous visits before there was a final diagnosis. Throughout this time I submitted claims based on current information. At the end of this process, based on the interim diagnosis, tests, etc necessary in diagnosing the disease, and final treatment, VPI reviewed all my claims to ensure I got the coverage due under my policy. As a result, I recieved a reimbursement beyond what they had already paid. Who ever heard of an insurance com[pany doing that? All I can say, is that it's always sad to have to use insurance, but VPI has always been there for me and the company and the people have been outstanding. I will not have a pet without VPI and recommend them to every pet owner I know.
