Libra pets tend to be calm and composed, and rather mellow as compared to those born under other sun signs. Your pet may typically behave very relaxed around other people and fellow critters. Also charming and submissive, Libra pets are very smart and have a keen sense when sizing up those around them. Of all the sun signs, Libras seem to have the most fortunate year ahead of them.

Seasons and Your Sun Sign

Winter: Several planets in Capricorn indicate that family matters will keep your Libra pet extremely preoccupied during the first half of the winter season. You pet’s loyalty to his loved ones, especially any elders in the family, will draw him closer than normal and put him on protective mode. By February, though, the presence of Saturn in Libra’s sign means a boost in spirits again.

Spring: Libra pets should expect many entertaining visits this year — from both critter and human companions alike. However, your Libra pet may meet someone whose company he doesn’t enjoy very much and as a result, he may become more assertive and vocal than normal. Keep an eye out for anything abnormal so, if and when the time comes, you can give your pet some space to make his feelings clear.

Summer: Libra pets will grow closer to one particular friend in the summer of 2010. It could be a fellow critter friend or a family member, but with Jupiter chasing after Aries in June, all signs point to a more meaningful one-on-one relationship. By July 11th — the Solar Eclipse — expect to see a jump in your Libra pet’s energy. In August, both Saturn (sturdy and stable) and Mars (fiery) move into Libra’s sign. Keep your pet well-balanced with enough activity to manage the energy, but not so much to stress him out. 

Fall: You might notice some temperamental behavior in your Libra pet in mid-September. Mercury heads into Libra’s sign by the 12th which can be problematic. Chalk this up to mild crankiness. By October, the Sun, and Saturn also appear, prompting your Libra pet to amp up the charm and cute factor. Perfect timing for the beginning of the holiday season.

Birds are a sensitive, intelligent species. Some are talkative and social while others can amuse themselves. Colorful birds like male peacocks boast a colorful tail in courtship. Birds, from parrots to blue jays, enjoy spring, summer and fall as they soar in their environment, whether it be in the home or the great outdoors.
