Optimize Your Well Care Coverage with CareGuard
VPI CareGuard (formerly Pet Well Care Protection) is a routine care rider that may be added to any of our medical plans. This optional coverage offers benefits towards routine treatments and procedures to help maintain your dog's good health. Reimbursements are provided for preventive treatments including two wellness exams, flea and/or heartworm preventive medications, vaccinations, dental cleaning or spay/neuter procedures, blood screening and much more.
CareGuard Coverage Comparison
Choose from two levels of coverage — CareGuard Core or CareGuard Premier — both ideal for keeping your dog healthy.
Premier coverage offers higher benefits for many procedures and includes benefits for dental cleaning or spay/neuter procedures and urinalysis or kidney testing.
Core coverage helps pay for the wellness exams, vaccinations, and flea and/or heartworm preventive medications.
