With VPI, you can get the healthcare protection that’s right for your cat by selecting one of our base medical treatment coverage plans: the VPI Superior Plan or the VPI Standard Plan. For addtional protection, you can enhance your cat’s coverage with one of our optional CareGuardSM riders for added preventive care benefits.
Base Medical Plans
The VPI Superior Plan and the VPI Standard Plan both cover the same conditions but have varying levels of reimbursement coverage. Pet owners seeking a higher level of reimbursement coverage should look for the VPI Superior Plan, which offers up to $14,000 in annual coverage. For those preferring a more modest level of reimbursement and a lower monthly premium, our economical VPI Standard Plan offers up to $9,000 in annual benefits.

Optional CareGuard coverage is available as an addition to your VPI Superior or Standard Plan. CareGuard coverage provides reimbursements for preventive care including wellness exams, vaccinations and flea and/or heartworm preventive. Choose from Core or Premier coverage levels.

VPI Enhanced Cancer Rider
VPI’s plans already include some cancer coverage for conditions such as skin cancer, bone cancer and leukemia. For those seeking more protection, VPI offers a cancer rider, which increases the policy’s reimbursement benefits.
